  1. Looks like we'd have to wait to see what feedback might show up concerning the engine/fit.
  2. Thanks. No engine? No problem. You can be sure some after-market source will have one for it sooner or later. 😃
  3. Their pre-sell price is $165.00 US as shown on Facebook this morning. That doesn't take into account any import charges probably. I don't know what the price might be from a US source like SB, etc. Whatever it is I'm sure it will be a very popular item.
  4. So am I Kevin! I expect it'll be "pricey" though. I just saw their pre-sell post on Farcebook. $165.00 US.
  5. Thank you Kevin. Love those Tamiya 1/32 Corsairs and Mustangs. 😄
  6. Since the B-17C was such a headache and wound up on the SOD, I need something that is ENJOYABLE to build. This Corsair fills that bill perfectly. 😁 I haven't yet decided on markings but am considering a "production line" theme. We will see.....
  7. I was a bit surprised at the lousy fit since I built the same kit under a different logo (Miniart/Academy) and, as far as I can remember, didn't have all these issues. At any rate, it's on the SOD and will probably stay there for a good while.
  8. Well hell!!!! This thing has turned into a real frustrating SOB. I've had a very high cuss-factor time getting the little side windows in and now I find the interior nose section (cockpit, etc) will not fit . Since modeling is supposed to be enjoyable I'm putting it on the SOD and going to something else. 🤪
  9. I just happen to like the early B-17's even though there's not a lot of diversity in the way of markings. I'll get started on this one today. I figure it will go well with my previous build of the 1/72 B-17D "Swoose". That was the Minicraft label kit while this one, although the same kit, is under Wolfpack label. 😃
  10. Thanks Gaz, I'm pleased that you like it! 😃
  11. Thanks Paul. A 1/32 F2A would be neat! I'll have to see about getting one. 😃 Later: I've been trying to find a F2A-3 but had no luck so far. You'd think there would be one or two on ebay but not today. Maybe someone here has one they would let go..... In the mean time I've started getting my F4U-1D kit ready. (Took all sprues out of their bags and clipped off the little molding tabs on various parts plus got all the paint needed together.)
  12. Thank you Kevin. It is kind of "flashy" isn't it? LOL 😃
