May 4May 4 Did you get any new kit or other modelling related goodies today or recently? We all like so show our new stuff, so please share it with us.I know this is an odd scale, and the surface is a little questionable (!) but hey, who cares!Darren
May 4May 4 Quinta set for Airacobra. Many of the Soviet Cobras were equipped with add on reinforcement panels. I already scribed it in my build and then this happens.edit: intended for 1/32 Kittyhawk kit.

May 5May 5 I stopped by my LHS and picked up a couple kits that I had bought online. First up is the Galactica from the reboot. Then a Tamiya Super Pershing. Another member built the regular Pershing and got me thinking about finding one of these. Lastly I got some more Gaianotes paints. Love the S-M-L size of bottles.
Tuesday at 02:42 PM5 days Author That Galactica reminds me I have the 1:32 Cylon Raider and Colonial Viper in the attic. You starting that one soon?

Tuesday at 04:12 PM5 days Author I once started and screwed up that kit through some over zealous PE work. I'd love to try again sometime.Probably not as easy to get now.

Thursday at 10:55 PM3 days Got this Ultrasonic knife from Hanboost. Not sure how I feel about this thing really. It does cut , and it's solidly made, but it's too big and sort of clumsy and heavy. It goes throughPlastic sprue connections pretty quick....but so does a good nipper. I haven'tused it on my resin figures yet.....(the reason I bought it). We'll see how that goesStill, it is a cool gadget.....if you like that sort of thing. Well, perhaps it'll grow on me over time. Edited Thursday at 11:03 PM3 days by Belugawhaleman

Friday at 03:26 PM2 days Author I've been using a surgical scalpel for almost 50yrs now. I'd struggle to adapt to ultrasonic. Looks good on the 3d print stuff though.

I found that level one was very controllable. Also I found that gripping it closer to blade worked well . 😀Thanks;Paul.
