I finally picked up the Gecko Universal Carrier.

Got for 30% off which made it cheaper than ordering it from Asia. So one more big scale AFV added to the stash.

Finally, from Hasegawa; A 1/12 resin figure of what they call "Egg Girls". This time,

No. 52 " Rei Hazumi" (sailor suit). I know, too cutesy, and not to everyone's liking, I started collecting these things a while back. They are fun, and often challenging, to build. I've built four and they came out nice. They also introduced me to the Mr Color line

of lacquer paints.....good stuff. This boxing doesn't disappoint in terms of "cutesiness".

Oh, also got two sets of Friulmodel tracks.....

My LHS has found my weakness for a good deal and consequently my stash has grown... Not what I had in mind.

Anyways, I picked up the recent Tamiya Leopard 2A6 in Ukraine markings.

I also got an Asuka M4A3 (76) Late.

Both of those were only $30 CAD each which is like, $20 US or so.

Finally, I got an Airfix pint glass. They cleverly packaged it with one of their big Spitfire kits. The box was slightly smushed but the contents were fine so it came with a huge discount.

Sadly there was no coaster included so I'm going to have water marks on my bench now.

After seeing much discussion about the merits of an ultrasonic cutter, I decided to pick one up.

I went with the Hanboost version as it seemed to be well received.

I'll be putting it to the test on my Joycraft Tutor build. Speaking of which, Rene from Joycraft is sending out some replacement parts for my kit as there was a bench accident and my son broke several parts. I appreciate his help and contact in resolving my problem.

Not too earth shattering but a much needed paint top up from Hannants and Resolution Hobbies for my next bout of plastic bashing. As usual I have labelled them for easy identification in their storage drawers. the big ones though do not fit in my normal storage drawers (30ml)

Also some airbrush parts: A larger (4ml) color cup for a H&S air brush and a trigger upgrade upgrade for an Iwata airbrush. Meant for

Iwata's Takumi, this part offers a wider, flat topped option for Iwata Eclipse-based airbrushes. Similar to the triggers on the Custom Micron.
