Two turret options, mg or cannon, and choice of wood or all steel idler

wheels.

Really, wooden idler wheels? Seems like an odd idea. I can see the logic in saving materials but surely they must have worn at a horrific rate?

Actually, I think they had a steel rim and they had wooden panels covering the sides of the wheels. There is a restoration video showing

the wood and this is represented on the wheels. I'll try to find the

video. It's a good video, the wheels are mentioned @ 4:30 into the film.

I should have said "wood covered" wheels.

Later tanks had pressed steel covers.

I received an order from Hobbyeasy in Hong Kong today.

Some intakes for the 1/48 Tamiya F-14.

PXL_20260921_185616311.jpg

A couple detail sets for the Tamiya Porsche 956. @DocRob 's 917 build was an inspiration.

PXL_20260921_185629062.jpg

Lastly, a couple sets for the Lexus LFA.

PXL_20260921_185643276.jpg

Some useful stuff today........

First some airbrush parts from H&S. A 4ml cup and lid for the Infinity

2024 CRplus / Giraldez airbrushes. Yes, as Doc Rob said this larger cup

will work on the Giraldez.. Here it is on my H&S Giraldez Mk. II.

Also some Friulmodel tracks....

ATL-89. Sherman T-66 type

ATL-160. Mk. V (26 1/2 inch-67.31 wide track).

Meant for the Mk. V, V*,V** tanks I bought them for my Takom Mk.V.

I've been reading up on this tank lately. Interesting, especially it's post

WW I history use by both sides of Russia's civil war, Estonia, and even

WW II😀. The Takom kit has some interesting decal choices.

Lastly , a big pack of BluTack......Because, well, Why not?

IMG_20260921_135642.jpg

Well anyway, I was able to get back home and sit at my work bench

for a bit - didn't really get anything done-but I managed to get things

organized to continue where I left off. I was glad to find the H&S parts

I needed. I now have 2 of the larger cups one to use on my Giraldez Mk II and the other on my Infinity 2024 CR plus. I should have bought the

2 in 1 version in the first place. I will now, when I can, get the larger .44

Headset to make things complete.

Regards;

Paul.

And this just arrived from BNA Modelworld. They had the best price I could find after including shipping to Canada.

That's a great assortment of stuff from a great friend.

This just landed in the UK from the US. Ebay, £56 delivered. Bit of a bargain!

It's supposed to be a decent kit. Round2 has announced a TiE Interceptor in the same scale.

Carl

Well, Hello.......

Despite deciding to "cool it awhile" about buying many more kits, I have

added some more to my stash..... But , hear me out......these are kits

that fall into the category of kits I passed up in the past for whatever

reason at the time, but now changed my mind.

First of these is Bronco's US M22 "Locust" Airborne Tank (T9E1).

I wanted to build a Locust for some time. Looks like a nice kit, but promises to be small and Fiddly.

IMG_20261005_134654.jpg

Next from Lanmo is their BA-64B Soviet Light Armored Car. (MM35003). This tiny kit has a full interior and engine. Nice

IMG_20261005_134118.jpg

Next is from IBG. It's their OTTER light Reconnaissance Car (35019).

An odd-looking Canadian armored car from WW II. This thing has been

on my radar for some time. No less than twelve sprues in this kit😀

IMG_20261005_134041.jpg

Finally, from Tamiya, their new RSO/01 German Tractor (35394).

I was as surprised as most when they announced this kit and knew

I had to get one. A cool little vehicle similar to the Soviet Voroshilovets tractor I built a while back. I also have the Miniart (ManyPart) version and

already have some Friulmodel tracks that I purchased at that time.

IMG_20261005_134153.jpg

All these kits appear to be pretty nice, and are of interesting subjects.

Because of its size and its many tiny parts, the Locust may be a

challenging build. It's the first Bronco kit I bought and It has left a favorable impression. Too bad I didn't look into this brand earlier.

Well, I hope some have found this posting interesting or useful😀
