She is all but done last photos reveal more like three touch-ups.I need to clean the glass oil the base outside and fasten the cover to the base for transportation to Covington,LA for the IPMS meet on the 20th it will just fit in the Escape.Some final pics and appreciate all those that follow next up will most likely be the Roma.

I spent quite a bit of time working the bow stations(no railing one side .020" brass rod and latex line the other side is .020" rod and stretched sprue liked it better then stretched sprue behind the anchors.

Thanks Martin I think I may rust it just a tad I think she was in this paint scheme maybe nine months.The scheme before this one(Cerberus Feb/42) if memory serves me right was the whole ship speckled LT.Grey and Dark Grey think an egg.Then after this it went Black.White,Lt.Grey and Dk.Grey (OstFront Dec/43) for the Norway area.The ship could not rust that much in nine months of fresh paint but reviews seemed mixed.

Thanks Rod I had a lot of fun building it 1/200 is a neat scale.

I am not doing it she remains as she is it's my build and when done after Sat.20th it will be in the house on my wall for my enjoyment and the wife likes it as it is.😉

Wow, beautiful build.

I've been tempted by these 1/200 ship kits but haven never caved and bought one. I think it's best for my sanity to live vicariously through the great builds like yours.

I followed your Scharnhorst log for a while Kevin, what an inspiring build. Attention to detail - and there is a lot of it - is fantastic. I get goosebumps, when I look for the rigging.

Well she's mounted to the wall in the computer room.The ship did not place well at the contest never really found out why I lost to a Bismark in 1/350 scale to which the rigging was over-scaled for even in 1/200 and the weathering was off the charts one could stand back 8' which is in scale about 7000' and see rust.The Bismark was on her maiden operation for commerce brand new she was pristine I have pics and the Pride of the Kreigsmarine was not entering the N.Atlantic anything less.I guess you can tell a bit miffed not mad just miffed...I think me winning first 4 yrs and a row needed to end?I will take her to Shreveport LA next March that's Regional IPMS.😉

Thanks Rob when I do the 1/200 Bismarck it will be even better.
