This is a model I’ve been not only been trying to find, but also dreaming of building. I’ve heard it’s a very challenging build to where you build literally EVERYTHING, including the chain and lacing your own wheels.

But that makes me want it all the more. Like many of us here, I ply with the full scale motorcycles, and especially the vintage Harley Davidsons.

This build makes me want this kit all the more!

Stunning job!

Your bike looks fantastic, so much detail and the metal parts look like metal, because they are, congratulations.
I built some MFH kits and had logs on the site, which are gone now. One of them was the Crocker Big Tank. The build was not overly difficult, except for joining the finished chain length parts, but I had a lot of fun. I have the Norton Model 18 in my stash and am eager to build it soon.

Cheers Rob

All MFH kits are a challenge but really its just a different way of working after Tamiya and the rest. The chains are never easy as the moulds they use are either worn out of just not up to the job , Last year Decalcas promised us an after market 1/9 chain on the lines of their 1/12 chain but its yet to appear.

I have an MFH Montgomery, Norton 18 and Vincent black shadow waiting in the wings but i would rather start them when the new chains are available

thanks for the great comments :-)
