MFH Crocker 1/9 Scale

Featured Replies

This is my MFH Crocker i built last year, it was my first attempt at a MFH model and a steep learning curve . Only real problem was the complicated tank decals so i ended up with an all black fuel tank. Anyway enough of looking back, i hope to get a build going here next week if the postman plays his part :-)

Again, absolutely fantastic build Paddy. The seat looks great in tan leather and I like your solution for the tank. I forgot, besides the chain issues, I had problems with the tank painting/decaling like you. The white decals were always visible, equal how hard I tried to mix the same white tone for the airbrush. I decided to go metal and polish the tank, with only the white and gold pinstripe decals on.
These MFH kits are truly addictive and I have some car kits in my stash, but only the Norton as a bike. I hope, they will re-pop one of the Ducatis in the future.

Hi Rob, yes you really need to spray the tank half white but even then the white "fingers" over the black showed as a different white. Your solution looks great :-) i see you got the keys in the ignition as well.🙂
