May 7May 7 Now here is something I might just order and download. Just to see how far I would get with it. Just received some quality clear resin for the glass section.Never been able to 3d print proper glazing, so that's another test right there. At 49,95 dollars, I could take a risk.https://www.aladdinmodel.com/product-page/1-32-avro-anson
May 8May 8 The designer, Yurii, is Ukrainian, and produces high-quality, detailed, designs. There was however a discussion about the accuracy of the model on LSP. The sloped windscreen (which I personally prefer) is good only for the early versions of the Anson, which also had fabric-covered wings and longer ailerons, whereas the wing is representative of the metal ones. In short, as initially designed, this Anson is representative only of the Anson flying currently in NZ.I said « initially designed », as Yurii was contacted by some knowledgeable LSP members and was open to amending his design. I don’t know the status of this rework, however.Hubert
Tuesday at 08:20 PM4 days Author So far i can say i’m really impressed woth the fit and detail. Really diving deep in my references and i only spotted a few minor things:Fire extinguisher could be better shape and detail wise. The props are off. I drew a new set.Wing sack is too prominent. The wings were plywood and only showed a little sack. There is a venturi tube missing on the top of the left engine. That’s it for now

They were rather smooth looking, like a Mosquito. I found only one picture, in the Wingleader book, of an Anson, where the fabric had probably been soaked to the point where it was actually bloated (rather than sagging) between the ribs and spars. So yes, the kit would be better off with smooth wings …Hubert
