It’s not easy but worth the effort. Lots and lots of supports to clear. Some you tear, some you break, some you twist and some you snip.

I think getting rid of the abundance of supports is the biggest job you’ll do on this model. The detail is excellent. So far the only flaws i’ve found are:

• prop shape is way off. I’ll need to redo this myself.

• Stressed skin on the plywood wings is too Much and needs to be gently sanded down.

• The engine prints are seperated in dozens of little islands. Making the print hard to clean. I would have done this differently.

• IMHO there are way too much supports

So.... Found a lot of pics of the wooden Avro Anson moi prop and made this from a 3d file I bought and altered extensively to match the Cheetah prop. Only need the match the tips.

That prop looks like an Axial.

the bottom one is an actual (not Axial) photo of an Avro Anson prop.

I will be building this plane as one of the dutch 321nd squadron from the RAF. So flown by dutch crew under RAF control.

I found a very good reference photo showing a dutch crew of four and am turning these into 3D, one by one.

First engine taking shape.

The ignition harness is made of dozens of seperate parts. I might replace those for lead wire maybe

So. The wingroot needs a little nip and tuck, but once done it’s tight strong fit. I ise this slow drying CA. Perfect when installing the tiny pushrods on the cilinders.

The fine detail is starting to show.

I decided to build the 321 squadron Anson, flown by a Dutch crew.

Luuk Boerman (owner of Dutch Decal) kindly sent me his EPS files! Now I can scale this up and cut airbrush masks.

After a few failed attempts I'm finally getting close to a proper prop.
The bottom one you see is just a template I made for the shape, taken of a photo and drawing.

I thought about that. I'd need to draw a new version with just the bottom ring and the opening. Then add the framing later with strips of tape I guess. I would not want this ribs to overlap, making it more work than I initially thought. I think masking this turret in the end is easier. Maybe...
