May 14May 14 Jist now on their feed: Dragon Models will stop producing kits and 1/6 figures and totally switch over to 3d models. In what capacity i don’t know.
May 14May 14 I saw that too. I’m wondering if they’re wanting to do the research and 3D modeling/engineering for other folks who would do the molds, molding, and marketing.
May 14May 14 Author i hope it means they will sell printable 3d models of exotic subjects. But who knows?
May 14May 14 They've hardly done anything earth shattering for years. Some nice 1:32 kits, but the same old armour stuff.Sort of pissed that 1:35 AT-AT never appeared! 😆
May 14May 14 Nobody said they’re quitting plastic. Emotions aside, look at the key words. “Physical and digital platforms”, with respect to “intellectual property.”
May 14May 14 I would use as an example Eduard's hybrid kits, or Magic Factory kits with their additional 3d printed bits and there are some more producers from Asia introducing 3D technology to their boxes on a mass scale. Dragon needs a hard reset and this would be it. After being dormant for so long, they're finally awakening. Hopefully.
May 15May 15 I have some of the Dragon armor in my stash. Will keep them until their value rises in maybe one thousand or two thousand years .Cheers Rob
