May 23May 23 Beautiful result as always. Thanks for sharing.The white wall tire indicated that it was grounded. All propeller driven aeroplanes are emitting quite significant static discharge, so there are ways how to deal with it.. One was conductive rubber compound.

May 24May 24 And modern days Marines, doing the same thing, before attaching the cargo.EDIT: bumped into this flyer from thirties. Allied planes were using them, no white stripping though :)
