Hi all, Just purchased the Aladdin Models 1/32 Avro Anson. A lot has been said on Facebook and LSP about the accuracy. I won't dwell on that too much, since this topic deals with the technical side of getting a proper and buildable print. Clear parts My biggest fear are the clear parts. I've never been able to print proper clear parts. I've tried Anycubic transparent resin with sad results. Now I tried Elegoo transparent resin. I thought it made sense since I print in an Elegoo printer now as

After finishing my Unicorn Gundam, I chose to continue with another Japanese super kit. The started log was lost in the gone forum and I will continue here. The BT52b was a successful design, winning the world championship drivers title with Nelson Piquet in 1983. It was the turbo era and the BT52b was the most powerful of all formula One cars until today and could generate up to 1500 horsepower in qualification mode. That came with a price, making the car difficult to drive with it´s turbo lag.

I've been working on this one off and on for over a year. It's nearing completion now so I thought I'd post a few photos. The topside camo is on but I'm thinking I made the dark earth a little too light when I mixed it. I think I might go back and re-apply a darker shade. Then, if it looks okay, it'll be time for the black sides and undersides. 😀

My first build here :-) lets see how it goes. This is a Matra Simca F1 car from 1968. The usual mix of plastic and white metal from MFH. My first problem here is finding reference pictures because MFH has produced an MS11 chassis with a MS9 engine which is correct but nearly all surviving cars seem to have an MS12 engine as above. Anyway thats a detail but it does mean that i will have to guess some details, not least engine colour. This is a strange choice from MFH here but it should be not

Hi all, This is a model I specially made for the P.1101. In the photo's of the P.1101 mockup at Oberammergau at the end of the war, you'll see that tail sitting was prevented by using a Herkules II bomb lift. It actually took me a while to figure out what type of early was bomb lift this was and even more time to gather reference. I did find the manual, but the real help came from Arsenal45 who had one and send me a lot of reference photo's and measurements. You will need to make two rods for

Time to resurrect this build now the Mk-24 is complete going to be photo heavy guys and using an outside server for pics since they are stored there in order methinks should be.👍 The START of some AM🙃 The porthole were all drilled and exterior ladders installed these were 1/350 for IJN in that scale measure 24" across 18" in 1/200 and KM were narrow by pics. So. The wingroot needs a little nip and tuck, but once done it’s tight strong fit. I ise this slow drying CA. Perfect when installing the tiny pushrods on the cilinders.

Getting closer with the front section. I finished the instrument panel with all the levers and brutally tiny rivets (about one millimeter long). The bezels were painted gloss black on top of the semi matte panel, according to photos I have.
The steering wheel was first airbrushed semi matte black and the foam rubber coating was brush painted with a mix from black smoke pigments, Tamiya flat base and thinner. This gives a better structure scale wise than my former experiments with Street Blisters flocking material and is dead flat in finish.

Installing the carbon fiber fairing with the IP onto the body was a bit problematic, as the part was warped and didn´t fit at the front end. Some surgery and a bit of force and added CA made it work. Don´t look too close, there are some touch up´s needed after my rude treatment.

I test fitted the upper front body on top and everything looks promising. Not always the case with MFH kits and I fear, after breaking all my ignition plugs, the backside will be more of a chore. But that´s for later.
I usually take my pictures in a booth, but since I build cars with high shine finishes, I dislike the booth, as it always looks as if there is some orange peel effect visible, which is caused by the numerous LED´s and not my paintjob. Filtering doesn´t really work and I have to experiment a bit more.

Yes. I installed an LED light on it. I haven't tested how it works yet. I need a resistor and batteries for it.
The idea was that the interior would be more visible when there was a little light.

I like the proportions that were used. It's not too egg shaped.
Joycraft does a larger versions as well which I'm tempted to get. It comes in the same Polish/Greek option or as an Israeli Sufa with corresponding detail changes.
