I call the Unicorn Gundam done. It was my first venture into Gundam universe and it was quite a ride with a mix of fun and a bit of overkill. The parts count is loco, the leftover sprues should have enough plastic for a large 1/32 plane. Last steps were black panel washing and adding the numerous stickers The mobile suit is fully articulated and I added a Kosmos LED set for enhancement. Another blast from the past, finished back in 2018. Tamiya’s 1/35 Jagdpanzer IV/70 Lang. Built mostly straight from the box, with the addition of Kaizen tracks. Painted using Mission Models paints and weathered with AK Interactive washes and pigments.

Hi all, Just purchased the Aladdin Models 1/32 Avro Anson. A lot has been said on Facebook and LSP about the accuracy. I won't dwell on that too much, since this topic deals with the technical side of getting a proper and buildable print. Clear parts My biggest fear are the clear parts. I've never been able to print proper clear parts. I've tried Anycubic transparent resin with sad results. Now I tried Elegoo transparent resin. I thought it made sense since I print in an Elegoo printer now as

In the latter half of WWII, in order to counter German tanks, the Russian army used the JS-2 heavy tank's chassis to create the JSU-152 heavy self-propelled gun. It featured improved armor protection and a simple superstructure which housed a massive ML-20S 152mm howitzer. They officially entered combat in the summer of 1944 during Operation Bagration, where Russian soldiers gave it the nickname Zveroboy (beast killer) due to its ability to destroy Tiger I and Panther tanks. Fine Molds’s 1/72 Y-wing, a really cool kit that went together beautifully. Love to do another one sometime, if I can get a hold of another kit. I also added LEDs to the cockpit and engines to bring the build to life.

Greetings All, Posted some of these on the previous forum, wanted to preserve this one for posterity because I've sold it on - loved building it (apart from when I kept twanging the hand rails...). I painted the Thor name as you can see, not entirely happy with it, decals split every time. I tend to keep the built model for a bit, then sell for not much to cover costs of next project. Thank you Jeroen, I´m not into Gundam either, but it was an entertaining sidestep from other kits. The engineering is truly insane and definitely unmatched. This is pure plastic overkill.

Thank you Carl, maybe it wasn´t the best idea to start Gundams with that beast, but I did somethin similar with the Cobra Coupe as my first MFH car build. I like challenges. You have some experiences with Gundam and I guess, You will avoid some of the mistakes I made.
I didn´t use the Kosmos LED´s for the backpack, as it would have been complicated to add them, once I realized that these were included. I didn´t like the backpack anyhow. The blue plastic is very prone to stress marks and therefore terribly hard to clean up.
Will I build another one? I guess yes, but have none in my stash. Let´s see, what happens after some different builds.
Your MG Gundam looks insane, the full package leaves no space, even on the box cover. Hopefully the joints are up to the load.

Tamiya released a new tool kit_of this in 2014. The original tooling dates back to 1976. I have the newer one. Nice kit😀
