Time to resurrect this build now the Mk-24 is complete going to be photo heavy guys and using an outside server for pics since they are stored there in order methinks should be.👍 The START of some AM🙃 The porthole were all drilled and exterior ladders installed these were 1/350 for IJN in that scale measure 24" across 18" in 1/200 and KM were narrow by pics. This was a thread on the old site before the crash. So, I bought this shirt at the EAA museum in 2024, right before NATS in Madison, WI. And I've been wearing it to shows but I don't have a P-40 on the shelf. So when Sprue had a sale a while back, I bought the Great Wall Hobbies kit. Since the shirt has && on it, I've been planning on building 77. Some of the AM that I've bought for it. And some of the progress on it. Cockpit area mostly. Ready to close up the fuselage. Added

These were started a little while back. They then got lost on my bench while I worked on whatever had my fleeting attention. So, having finished the F-16 my bench is ready to get these done. The ZM kit is much further along with the cockpit done, fuselage closed up and the majority of the wings completed as well as the engine. The Revell one has the wings started, the fuselage halves together, and the engine mostly complete.

hi guys! Let me (re) share my latest build ! The 1:72 Scale A-37 Dragonfly from Academy. I Had this model in the shame shelf for almost 2 decades and decided to finish him. all build OOB including decal options for a Vietnam era bird ! a easy build with some challenging painting. the paints use are from Ak real colour set dedicated to USAF SEA camouflage. The refuelling probe was remade with evergreen tube as it was constantly breaking :) the base is a simple rectangle of roofmate carved and

After finishing my Unicorn Gundam, I chose to continue with another Japanese super kit. The started log was lost in the gone forum and I will continue here. The BT52b was a successful design, winning the world championship drivers title with Nelson Piquet in 1983. It was the turbo era and the BT52b was the most powerful of all formula One cars until today and could generate up to 1500 horsepower in qualification mode. That came with a price, making the car difficult to drive with it´s turbo lag.

This build has been started some years ago. The reason, I post it again are twofold, one reason being to add another aspect of modelling to LSM Mark II and on the other hand to motivate myself to finish the build, which stalled with rigging. The name giving Duchess was a very interesting person, to say the least. These are some of the 1/16 radio controlled models built before I joined the site. My MAN Danish tank transporter. Challenger 2. Tiger 1. As captured by the Sherwood Rangers. Von Rossen’s Tiger 1 East German T72. Abrams in the cool winter sun. A not entirely accurate M35 Gun Truck, build with my grandson to drive. Leopard 2A6, which will become a Danish 2A6DK. Danish Leopard 1A5DK, as used in Operation Bøllebank.

Well the rear SS is about to get glued to the deck.I had to make a couple parts for the rear mast I had noticed some time ago but forgotten.The top of the mast added in 43 is the FuMB Antenna3 Ball passive detector and below it is the White top light now to paint.
I made that light atleast 6X times it was pissing me off so small

The boats are finally glued in place.I used the Waldron Punch to make the life rings on top.

The rigging for the mast lots of rope lines I give myself a "D" here it was hard getting a semblance at the top of width.

I used Plasmo's technique of a white glue mine be Tacky Glue slightly thinned down bigger holes needed a thicker glue.

GWH Hawk 81-A 2 Flying Tigers

Sooooo, that was 'fun'.

I had cut the barrels off the guns and drilled holes for Master gun barrels. I hadn't glued the barrels in place. I wanted to leave that for later so I could get them placed in the right position later. So, I went to put the guns in the wing so I could put the covers in place. (Note the open squares in the leading edge of the wing in the previous post.) The gun didn't end up in the correct place/orientation and when I tried to pull it out, the tweezers slipped and Rattle, Rattle, Rattle. Now it was in the wing somewhere. I looked at things and decided the only place to open it would be the wing leading edge. Out came the scalpel and I started drawing it along the leading-edge joint. Of course, when I got closer to the wingtip, slip, now I had a blade mark on the wing. Next, I started with the razor saw and thought to myself "this will take a while". Then hmmm, ultrasonic knife. It probably doesn't look any better or any worse than using the saw and it was a whole lot quicker. Now to close up the wing again and fill and sand. I need some practice about not holding the blade in one place for long.

I've made some progress on the FWs.
I finally installed the pedals into the Revell cockpit. I have the Eduard Brassin' set but the tub was too small.

With the pedals done, I installed the cockpit and closed up the fuselage.

The wings went on next.

I then made up 2 sets of belts. I used a set from Wako. I'm not sure if they're still around or not but I find these to be the easiest to put together.

Lap belts attached to the seat.

Installed into the ZM cockpit.

Brabham BT52b - The Guided Missile - Model Factory Hiro - 1/12

The pictures show the actual state of the Brabham. Many repairs have been done. The engine and gearbox unit is quite heavy and is hold in place only with one M1,4 screw of 3 mm length. I substituted the screw for a longer one, to guarantee a secure fit. I also added the mesh parts over the radiators, where you had to spray the number on, using a PE template.

The front wing assembly was relatively straight forward, besides the rivets which keep the white end plates in place. These are only 1,5 mm long and a pain to install. Why MFH has chosen such short rivets is beyond me. This will be even worse with the rear wing, where I still have to install numerous of these rivets.
The rear wing is only glued together and not glued to the body right now. I test fitted numerous times, to do everything right, when CA is on, but managed to get some parts slightly misaligned.
