I made a second wheel, it actually took a quarter of the time than the first as i knew what i was doing...........well sort of 😁 I haven’t bween able to find a good picture of the front brakes.I know its magnesium and I know its a hydraulic drum brake which I would guess was innovative at the time as I have never heard of one before, they are always cable operated. The drum appears to have a hydraulic line with a standard banjo fitting but also has a cable to each side, so it could be a cable operated hydraulic cylinder in the drum with a remote reservoir on the frame …who knows ? I am guessing the complicated magnesium hub set up was a factory fit only and given the short life of magnesium and the very limited numbers made for a factory bike, this would explain why all the surviving models have a standard type front wheel and brake and why I cant find decent pictures of the original set up The kit banjo bolt looks huge, need to check that....
