I now have all the parts so feeling a lot better about this build. Decals are on and top clears applied so once they go really hard i will try and cut the finish back. I have to say the decals are probably the best i have come across. Very thin but opaque so even white doesnt show the blue through. No tendency to stretch and very sticky. Ever since my troubles with some other decals where the guy said i was applying them all wrong and washing the glue off, i have dunked the decal in warm water for 5 seconds then removed it and allowed the decal to release itself after a minute or so ,so its not possible for the glue to be anywhere other than on the decal and its made a huge difference to the job. That said, i did paint the white band round the nose ass i couldn't see that really working with the supplied decal.
