Any idea what this colour is on the engine cases. I come across it a lot on bikes and cars, it looks like a king of graphite maybe ?? often see it on F1 gearboxes in the form of dark rough cast alloy ?

The Porsche is finally done, not my best work, but not the best kit either. It looks like a Porsche 917 and that should be enough with this one. I added all the clear piexes, which I should have dipped in Future, as they are not as clear as I liked them to have. Two were broken off the sprues and there is no peg for gluing in, where I could hold the clear piece, that´s why I decided against. The rain wiper was not the easiest construction, consisting of some bended tiny and fragile PE parts. Wel

As a "time filler" until my next Eduard P-51B delivers (Thursday) I've been working on this kit. I rarely build armor but figured this would be a good time to work on this one. I'll set it aside when the '51 shows up and work on it more from time to time.

Posted the start of this on the old forum, before it went down. The intention was see if this kit could be made into a working RC tank. All while trying to retain as much as the kit as possible. I first investigated whether a propitiatory lower hull could be used, but this would not have been correct, so was dismissed. This would have been an easy solution, but why make life easier? I posted about this last spring when I first purchased this book and thank you to those who helped in some research. So, I visited the McKay's secondhand store in the Nashville area. They have books, games (digital and analog), Legos, and other items. I figured that it may be helpful when the Kotare P-47 is released. (Notice the price.) So far, this $1.50 book has cost over $150. Hi all, As the Sopwith 2F.1 Camel is coming to a close, I've started researching the next build. The Wingnut Wings RAF RE.8 kit. I'll model this as a RE.8 of the 6me Escadrille, Belgian Aviation Militaire, at Houthem-lez-Furnes airfield in 1917. This particular aircraft, serial number A 3715 ‘6’, was built in Coventry, England and was transferred to Belgian’s in July 1917. Initially this aircraft was delivered with the RAF 4a engine fitted, but this was later replaced by a Hispano-Suiza engine.

We all have other interest many that will cross lanes with other post them here.I have developed in the last few years growing fruit in my backyard mainly I have 2-Sanat Rosa Plums 2-Apple trees Golden and Ein Shemer 2-orange trees Red navel and Honeybell 2- Lemon Trees 2-Peach trees and 2-Necatrine Desert and White Artic.The berry bushes include 6- blueberry 3-mature 4-blackberry 2-boysenberry and 3-patches of raspberry.I still have in pots 6 more Honeybells grown from seeds in pots which 3 wil

I have a pair of the best chinesium gearboxes that I am hoping to fit inside the final drive housing.
I'm going try and subtract the shape of the gearboxes from the housing and hopefully it should fit inside nice and snug then I just need to hook up the electronics and it should be good to go.
I found a good 2 channel controller on Facebook marketplace ha ha.

Hehe, other than you, I haven´t build any red cars at all. I´m more over-whited, after the Brabham BT45 and 52b. In between there was the black Lotus 72D, so red is the color to go for me .
Your black Fiat is a looker, I love the cut-away idea.

I hear what you say about that french Blue however to my surprise it looks better in the flesh and does break up the sea of Italian red Ferrari's, Alfa's ,Fiats and Ducatis on the shelf my last italian i did in gloss black as a cutaway just because i couldn't face another red build 🤣.

Thank you Paddy, I´m always a relatively slow builder, no matter what kind of kit. I got into hyperspeed only with challenges, which normal plastic kits seldom have for me. I never liked the pure plastic snipping and building phase and since I started with wooden sailing boats and MFH kits, I feel, I enjoy the building phase much more due to having to handle different materials and pemanent little trying tasks.
I think, I will start another MFH kit soon and meanwhile I may continue with the already started Alfa 2300 Roadster.
I really like to see you putting your magic onto the Matra. I skipped all of them, because I don´t like the blue tone, but the engines are lovely and I enjoyed your Matra F1 build.
