My first build here :-) lets see how it goes. This is a Matra Simca F1 car from 1968. The usual mix of plastic and white metal from MFH. My first problem here is finding reference pictures because MFH has produced an MS11 chassis with a MS9 engine which is correct but nearly all surviving cars seem to have an MS12 engine as above. Anyway thats a detail but it does mean that i will have to guess some details, not least engine colour. This is a strange choice from MFH here but it should be not

So, I thought I'd try to recreate a version of this current build. When I purchased the kit, I wanted to build an aircraft using both the pointy rudder and the extended wing tips. That is how this became a conversion to the VII. I bought the kit last fall at the IPMS Murfreesboro show. There was quite a bit of AM included in the kit box. While I was at it, I bought some additional AM. Not all of it was used. I found this book on Amazon. And I eventually decided on this specific aircraft. Th

I think the most recent fully completed build I have that's large scale would be Miniart Lee Tank. I don't know how many kits I've been through getting one completed but this is more the movie star Lee than something that fought in the war. This has been a goal of mine for many years and many false starts. I do regret the lay out of the tank and figures, I'm not well practice with that and just kinda plopped them all down. Anywho.. This kit is from 2022 I got some AM copit kit for it worked out pretty well as memory serves me but should of gone black for the pit.The finish is Alclad my favorite with panels in other color.I ended up having to paint the yellow bands decals just fractured and the blue on the pylons.😉

Hi all, Just purchased the Aladdin Models 1/32 Avro Anson. A lot has been said on Facebook and LSP about the accuracy. I won't dwell on that too much, since this topic deals with the technical side of getting a proper and buildable print. Clear parts My biggest fear are the clear parts. I've never been able to print proper clear parts. I've tried Anycubic transparent resin with sad results. Now I tried Elegoo transparent resin. I thought it made sense since I print in an Elegoo printer now as

Somehow mine still has clear space on it.
I'm making progress on the F-16. Burner can is done.

MLG is one piece. Gear bay, legs and wheels are attached to the fuselage as a single unit. You can see them here prior to paint.

The same goes for the NLG. I painted and installed both.

I'm not really a car guy, but that was a solid beginning. I'll pop by from time to time to check it out. Have to admit I never guessed a rock tumbler as a tool that would be useful for scale modelling.

Update. 1ManArmy stencils. This is the first batch. All the bottom stencils are applied.
Bottom paint.

All the masks are placed.

Now, from the experiment with some samples, extra tape around the edges.

I used MRP RLM66 for the dark gray. I also used my Creos 771 airbrush, pressure at 10 psi, and the needle stop set so I couldn't spray too much paint.

I carefully removed all the extra tape. None of the masks even tried to release with the tape.

And, masks removed.

At the time of this posting, I have the top side and the left side done. Right side to go.
I carefully peeled off the masks and placed them back on the sheet. While they all came off intact, some of them aren't sticking to the sheet very well.
